Beat! beat! drums! — blow! bugles! blow!
Through the windows — through doors — burst like a ruthless force,
Into the solemn church, and scatter the congregation,
Into the school where the scholar is studying;

Poetry readings

I like poems, but reading them is too exhausting. I’m suited towards reading long stories—reading one thousand page book is easier for me than reading ten short-stories/poems that are ten pages long. It’s difficult to switch from one story to the next, from one poem to another, sequentially. Each poem is unique you see.
